7 months |Lord, hold my daughters' (Addison, Ella, Samantha) hearts in Your hands. Let them know they are not their past—they are Yours. Remind them of their dignity, restore their confidence, and show them the beauty of Your love. Where there is shame, bring healing. Where there is confusion, bring truth. And where there is silence, bring peace. Let them always know they can come to You—and to me. Protect them from the enemy and cover them in the blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

8 months |Dave Jacobs, a long-time member of the American Legion who held numerous positions over the years, including several years as District 7 Commander, passed away on June 5, 2025. A graveside service will be held on June 28th, 2025, at Saint Bonifice Cemetery in Uniontown, WA. Service begins at 11 am and will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Uniontown Community Building. His daughter asked all to bring their best BS and let the Busch Light flow in honor of Dave.
9 months |In the last several weeks, we have had multiple Legionnaires involved in Motorcycle accidents resulting in devastating injuries, including deaths. We sincerely request Prayers for these Legionnaires and their families for comfort, healing, and mercy. The names, for privacy concerns, are not important as God knows who they are. Furthermore, we ask that everyone be extremely careful when driving and maintain a vigilant watch for motorcycles. As the weather improves with the arrival of summer months, more motorcycles will be on the road, and, as always, they can be challenging to spot.
On a personal note, I ask for Prayers for the family of Bill Haas, my oldest brother and Marine Veteran, who passed away on June 9th, just 2 weeks short of his 90th Birthday. May God welcome him into His loving arms and grant peace and comfort to his family.
Last, but certainly not least, many Legionnaires are going through difficult times with illness and uncertainties in the state of our world, state, nation, and communities. It seems that many of our God given freedoms and our very democracy are in jeopardy, that we ALL fought and some died for. Please keep your thoughts and Prayers, by your own beliefs, that our Creator grant His grace and mercy to us all.
